What is CrossFit

Picture
"The first experience with a CrossFit workout is a special one, you get to test yourself to see what you’re made of.  You can decide to quit half way, you can decide it was too hard and you don’t think you’re good enough, or you can decide to come one more time to see how it will go;  and again, and again, and again.   I understand, CrossFit is not for everyone.   Different stokes for different folks, but if I could give one piece of advice to every person I meet,  it would be to find something you love and stick with it. " -T. Postnikoff-

"Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, litle starch and no sugar. Keep intake of levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses,C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. regularly learn and play new sports." -Greg Glassman-
