Andrew started crossfiting in November of 2008. He came upon it on the internet. The first WOD that a crossfit trainer made him do was Push up, Sit up and Pull ups....10,15,5 each for 5 or 7rounds. Lui then said "that's it??" before eating those words after the WOD while laying on the floor. His Oly lifting skills from his Oly Competition days in high school gives him a good basis for crossfit. During an Oly Seminar with Coach Burgener, the coach wanted to adopt him because he was so good. He has recently had his first child with Lilly who we often see training at CFS with him. He's working as ER physician and studying for his emerg fellowship exam. All this and he's still setting PR's all the time. Recently his favorite new hobby is napping with his newborn son laying on his huge muscular chest !
He's trying to find a more balanced approach to every aspect of his life but his built in aptitude of 'balls to the wall" approach makes him better at everything he does.
